Worker Safety
- Restricted Entry Interval (REI): Do not enter or allow worker entry into treated areas during the restricted entry interval (REI) of 4 hours.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): PPE required for early entry to treated areas that is permitted under the Worker Protection Standard and that involves contact with anything that has been treated, such as plants, soil, or water, is:
- Coveralls
- Chemical-resistant gloves such as butyl rubber, natural rubber, neoprene rubber, or nitrile rubber (≥ 14 mils)
- Shoes plus socks
Precautionary Statements
- Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling.
- Do not eat, drink, or smoke while handling this product. Wash hands thoroughly before eating, drinking, or smoking.
- Keep out of reach of children and uninformed persons. Store in original container in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place.
First Aid Measures
- Inhalation: Move to fresh air and keep at rest. Seek medical attention if symptoms occur.
- Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothing and wash skin with soap and water. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
- Eye Contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
- Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth with water and seek medical attention immediately.
Environmental Hazards
This product is very toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects. Avoid release to the environment. Do not contaminate water bodies when disposing of equipment wash waters or rinsate.
Storage and Disposal
- Store in original container in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place away from food, feed, seed, fertilizers, and other agricultural chemicals.
- Dispose of contents and container to a hazardous or special waste collection point in accordance with local, regional, national, and/or international regulations.
- Operator Protection:
- Wear suitable protective clothing and gloves when handling the concentrate.
- Avoid all contact with skin. Wash hands and exposed skin before meals and after work.
